The NERDvana Edition

Nobody knows more about technology, social inadequacies or swirlies/wedges at 13 quite like the nerds. However in this day and age when information technology is king, nerds reign supreme. So while the Fonzies of the world would tease at their expense, we know it's their unabashed passion for what they enjoy that also makes them... kinda cool.
Let's face it - Geek is chic.

"She blinded me with science" - Thomas Dolby

I like how on nights with a navy moon, i can still hear this on the dancefloor.

"Mr Spock" - Nerf Herder

"True Geek Love" - Tripod

(listen to the lyrics, esp after 1:00)

"Weird science" - Oingo boingo

(anyone remember the TV series? i do.)

...and from "Revenge of the Nerds"
The Rap

[spoofed on family guy]

NEXT WEEK ON FRIDAY RADIO

Friday Radio is going around the world.
Each week will feature a destination and the music that hails from that country or state. We'll start from Australasia and sweep across the map, listening as we go along.

Next Week's destination: New Zealand.

See you then.

Love: F.R.
