Friday Radio 26Sept2008 edition

“It’s raining, it’s pouring, the old man is snoring. Bumped his head and he went to bed, and he couldn’t get up in the morning.” (Just realised this age old nursery rhyme is a tad bit too morbid)

Friday radio, here we go...

Nina Simone - “ Feeling Good” (remix)
If you are as disturbed as I am of Michael Buble’s remake of this classic, then let this remix salvage it all. Nice and easy.

Deda - “Blah Uno”
Underground hip hop soul classic... 5 words when put together, latches on to your mind. Amen.

Johnny Osbourne - “Ice cream Love”
A song about ice cream done reggae style! “I don’t want an ice cream love, it’s too cold for me” haha. It’s amazing what you can find when researching for a campaign.

Everything but the girl - “lullaby of clubland”
Once described by a magazine as “depression never felt this good on the dancefloor”, this is another great song to add to your collection.

Isaac Hayes - “Walk on by”
Have been meaning to add an Issac Hayes track to FR (Friday radio) for ages but couldn’t decide on one...there’s just too many great tracks. But I think you’ll have to agree that this one is amazing. R.I.P Isaac.

Just Jack - “lovefool”
A cover of the cardigans’ classic. This one’s gonna stick in your head for a bit.

Sylvia Striplin - “Give me your love”
Sexy disco track to groove to.

Don’t let the weather get you down.
